Its high-density layout supports two hot-swappable 2.5-inch SATA or single-channel SAS SSDs and hard disk drives, plus one Slim or Ultra-Slim optical drive. The enclosure accommodates drives from 5mm to 15mm in height and supports Slim 12.7mm or Ultra-Slim 9.5mm CD, DVD, or Blu-ray optical drives, making it well suited for servers, workstations, industrial PCs, portable computer systems, and space-sensitive configurations.

Built for demanding commercial and industrial environments, the MB602SPO-B uses heavy-duty metal construction throughout the chassis and removable trays. The EZ-slide trays include anti-vibration protection and EMI grounding to help safeguard installed drives and support stable operation. An eagle-hook latch secures each tray during use, while individual status LEDs provide quick drive activity and connection updates. The spring-loaded optical drive bracket simplifies installation and removal, and an included EVA foam spacer helps create a secure fit when using an Ultra-Slim optical drive.

Cooling and power management are designed for dependable operation. Ventilation openings throughout the enclosure and trays promote passive airflow, while the user-configurable 40mm fan offers high, low, and off settings for adjustable cooling. Active Power Technology powers the fan and individual bay indicators only when a drive is installed, helping reduce unnecessary power use. Dual SATA power connectors separately supply the optical drive and HDD or SSD bays for stable power delivery. The ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB602SPO-B also supports applications requiring a flammability-conscious design and complies with RoHS environmental standards.

Whether deployed in military, medical, avionics, factory, warehouse, data center, or other rugged computing systems, the ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB602SPO-B provides flexible storage expansion and convenient hot-swap access in a compact internal enclosure. Its durable construction, adaptable optical drive support, configurable cooling, and compatibility with SATA and SAS storage make it a practical choice for professional system builders and integrators.

Features:

Active Power Technology powers each bay LED and the cooling fan only when a drive is installed

Supports two hot-swappable 2.5-inch SATA or single-channel SAS SSDs and hard disk drives

Accommodates installed drives from 5mm to 15mm in height

Supports Slim 12.7mm or Ultra-Slim 9.5mm CD, DVD, or Blu-ray optical drives

40mm cooling fan with high, low, and off settings

Ventilation openings in the chassis and trays support passive cooling

Dual SATA power connectors separate optical drive and HDD or SSD power delivery

Spring-loaded optical drive bracket enables convenient installation and removal

Full-metal chassis and trays provide rugged protection for industrial and commercial systems

Anti-vibration trays and EMI grounding help protect drives and promote stable operation

Eagle-hook tray latches secure installed drives and provide push-button ejection

Designed for military, medical, avionics, server, workstation, data center, and portable computer applications

RoHS compliant and suitable for applications requiring a flammability-conscious design

https://atticusgoods.com/products/icy-dock-tougharmor-mb602spo-b-2-bay-sata-sas-drive-enclosure-with-slim-optical-drive-bay
