By pressurizing the engine and monitoring for pressure loss, this kit helps technicians locate issues that may affect fuel mixture, idle quality, starting performance, and overall engine operation. It is designed for diagnostic use during maintenance, troubleshooting, and engine rebuilds.

The leak detector kit supports inspection of common sealing points, including crankcase areas, intake components, and other passages that can contribute to unwanted air entry. Finding these leaks early can help prevent incorrect tuning adjustments and reduce the risk of lean-running conditions or inconsistent performance. The Motion Pro brand is recognized for service tools developed for motorcycle repair and workshop applications.

Use the Motion Pro 08-0071 kit as part of a structured diagnostic process, following the applicable engine manufacturer’s service procedures and recommended pressure limits. Proper preparation and careful observation during testing can make it easier to distinguish a sealing problem from a carburetion, ignition, or mechanical issue. This kit is a useful addition to professional shops, race support equipment, and home garages servicing two-stroke engines.

Features:

Brand: Motion Pro

Part Number: 08-0071

Application: Two-stroke engine air-leak testing

Product Type: Engine leak detector kit

Use: Helps identify unwanted air leaks during diagnosis and service

Benefit: Supports troubleshooting of starting, idle, tuning, and performance concerns

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0692/2285/8794/files/ld1075_e032a6fa-b432-44f6-abfe-deb8b174d7cd.jpg?v=1792175007
