Before installation, verify that the shut-off valve can be installed easily and protect the shut-off fitting by masking or plugging it during painting. All tanks and tank sets require hand fitting to achieve proper alignment for the dash and fuel-line connections. The dash may also require shimming during installation to achieve the correct height.
