This Motorshop Magneto Assembly combines a magneto head with an adjustable advance, designed as a direct drop-in for Harley-Davidson FL models built from 1941 through 1969.
The magneto is taller than the original distributor, so verify clearance with the cylinder head pushrod covers, relay boss, and cylinder before installing. Check clearance and fit before mounting to avoid contact.
Mounting options: attaches with one hole, or drill and tap an additional hole. Mount bolts are sold separately.
Lubricate before assembly.

Fitment: Harley-Davidson FL models from 1941 to 1969.
Assembly includes Magneto head and adjustable advance. Magneto base has the 2-hole mount flange like 1941-69 type distributors on 1941-1969 FL models.
Base is shotted to allow advance and retard manually. Drops in the distributor hole and is manual advance. Check cylinder head pushrod covers relay boss and cylinder clearance before installation as the magneto is taller than the original distributor. Attach with one hole or drill and tap additional hole. Order mount bolts separately. *NOTE: Must lubricate before assembly.
