Male and female variants, as well as right-angle options for each, provide full flexibility and make it easy to install cable around tight bends, meaning your network can be fully customized. Actisense Field Fit Connectors allow for secure, reliable connections in any NMEA 2000 installation using Lite cable. The glands inside the connectors tighten around the cable as they are screwed together to maintain watertight integrity.
The Field Fit Connectors allow cables to be cut to any length, resulting in less excess. Right-angle options mean cables can be fitted at any angle to allow ease of installation from the desired entry point. The Actisense NMEA2000 Straight Micro Field Fit Connector - Male is designed for versatile and customizable marine network installations. Crafted to provide secure, waterproof connections with Lite cable, this connector features a gland that tightens around the cable as it is screwed in, ensuring watertight integrity even in demanding environments. Its straight form factor simplifies installation, especially in spaces with limited clearance or tight bends, allowing cables to be cut to precise lengths with minimal excess for a tidy setup.
Constructed with high-quality materials, the connector contact is brass with a gold plating to ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The connector accommodates 22 AWG wire gauge and is rated for 4A current at up to 60VDC, making it suitable for various NMEA 2000 network components. Its sealing gland size of PG9/6-8mm cable and rubber O-ring seal deliver IP67 protection when locked, safeguarding your network from dust and water ingress. The connector body is made from durable PA+GF (black), and the insert is TPU, providing robustness and flexibility for marine environments.
Designed with a standard M12-A polarization and M12 threading, this connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of NMEA 2000 devices. Its stainless steel screw and sealing gland components contribute to long-term reliability. The insulation resistance exceeds 100 MΩ, confirming high-quality insulation performance.
