The AddOn 1018-6132-AO compatible Optelian SFP transceiver delivers reliable 1000Base-DWDM connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF) for long-distance network links. Operating at a 1554.13nm wavelength, it supports transmission distances up to 80 kilometers, or approximately 49.7 miles, through an LC connector. This optical transceiver is designed for gigabit data networking applications that require dependable performance between switches, servers, and other compatible network components.
The hot-swappable SFP form factor simplifies installation and replacement without requiring extended network downtime. Each transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure it initializes and operates like the equivalent Optelian module. Digital optical monitoring (DOM) support provides access to real-time operating parameters, helping network administrators monitor performance and maintain service reliability. The module is also designed for operation across a broad industrial temperature range from -40°F to 185°F.
This AddOn Optelian-compatible transceiver is 100% compatible with the equivalent Optelian 1018-6132 module and is suitable for high-performance fiber optic networking environments.
