The AddOn 16094029004WDM20I-AO is a Ciena 160-9402-900-4WDM-20-I compatible QSFP28 transceiver designed for dependable 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. It supports 100GBase-4WDM-20 transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) for distances up to 20 kilometers, using wavelengths from 1295nm to 1309nm and an LC connector. This optical module delivers high-speed data transfer with low signal loss and is well suited for data center, telecommunications, enterprise, and other demanding network environments.
The transceiver features a hot-swappable form factor for convenient installation or replacement without disrupting network operations. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), providing access to real-time operating information such as optical power, temperature, voltage, and other operating parameters. Designed for rugged deployment, the module operates across a temperature range of -40°F to 185°F, helping maintain reliable performance in challenging conditions. MSA compliance supports seamless integration with compatible networking equipment.
Each AddOn transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure it initializes and operates like the original Ciena module.
