Featuring a 1550nm/1310nm bi-directional single-mode fiber interface, this device facilitates data transmission over distances up to 20 kilometers, making it ideal for remote or hard-to-reach locations. This converter is powered via AC/DC supplies and functions as a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), providing 48V (or other voltages) power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af-compliant powered devices. The integrated PSE controller features PD signature sensing and real-time power monitoring, along with over-current protection and Link Fault Pass-through (LFP) capabilities. LFP monitors both fiber and copper ports for signal loss, automatically disabling transmission to prevent network disruptions during faults.
