The AddOn Q28-100GP4-BXD94-40-AR-AO is an Arista Networks compatible QSFP28 transceiver designed for reliable 100Gbps Ethernet connectivity over single-mode fiber. Supporting 100GBase-BX ER1 transmission up to 40 kilometers, this bidirectional PAM4 module uses a single-lambda design with 1309.14nm transmit and 1304.58nm receive wavelengths through a duplex LC connector. It must be paired with a compatible transceiver or network appliance using complementary wavelengths for proper operation.
The module supports a 4x25G electrical interface and operates from a single 3.3V power supply within a commercial temperature range of 32°F to 158°F. Integrated KP4 forward error correction helps maintain signal integrity across extended fiber links, while Digital Optical Monitoring provides access to real-time operating information for simplified network management and proactive maintenance. The transceiver is compliant with QSFP28 MSA, 100G Lambda MSA 100G-ER1, and SFF-8636 Rev. 2.10a specifications for broad interoperability.
Each AddOn transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure dependable initialization and operation in compatible Arista Networks environments. It is RoHS compliant, lead free, TAA compliant, and designed to meet or exceed applicable OEM specifications. The module is backed by a limited lifetime warranty and is suitable for data center, enterprise, telecommunications, and high-bandwidth network deployments requiring long-reach 100G connectivity.
