The AddOn Fortinet compatible QSFP-100GBASE-SR-BD-FT-AO transceiver delivers 100 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for high-performance network environments. Designed for use with OM4 multi-mode fiber, this 100GBase-BX SR1.2 module supports transmission distances up to 328 feet using an LC connector and wavelength range of 844nm to 918nm. As a bidirectional transceiver, it must be paired with a complementary wavelength transceiver or compatible network appliance to establish the optical link.
Programmed, uniquely serialized, and thoroughly tested for data traffic and application performance, this AddOn module is designed to initialize and operate like the original Fortinet optic. It is MSA compliant for broad network integration and is engineered to meet or exceed applicable OEM specifications. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) support provides access to real-time operating information, helping network administrators monitor operating conditions and maintain reliable performance.
The QSFP28 form factor combines high bandwidth with efficient installation, making it suitable for data centers, enterprise networks, server connections, and other demanding optical applications. Its multi-mode fiber compatibility supports fast data transmission between network components while helping preserve signal integrity across high-capacity links.
