The AddOn J4859D-AO is an HP J4859D-compatible SFP transceiver designed to provide dependable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF). Supporting 1000Base-LX operation, this mini-GBIC delivers data rates up to 1,000 Mbps across links reaching up to 10 kilometers, making it suitable for connecting switches, servers, and other network components across extended distances. The transceiver uses a 1310nm optical wavelength and an LC connector for reliable fiber network integration.
