The AddOn JD089B-AO is an HP JD089B-compatible 1000Base-T SFP transceiver designed to provide reliable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over standard twisted-pair copper cabling. Using an RJ-45 connector, this copper SFP supports 10/100/1000Base-TX data rates with throughput up to 1,000 Mbps and transmission distances up to 328 feet. Auto-negotiation enables flexible network configuration for a range of switching and routing environments.
Built in a hot-swappable SFP, also known as mini-GBIC, form factor, the AddOn JD089B-AO supports efficient installation and replacement without disrupting compatible network equipment. Each transceiver is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to help ensure it initializes and operates like the corresponding OEM module. The transceiver is designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications and is guaranteed compatible with HP networking equipment.
This AddOn copper SFP operates in temperatures from 32°F to 158°F and complies with Multi-Source Agreement standards for seamless integration into supported network platforms. It is also Trade Agreements Act compliant, making it suitable for qualifying commercial and government networking deployments. Compatibility includes select HP A-Series, E-Series, V1910, wireless, router, and switch platforms, including the HP A6600, A7500, A9500, E4500, E4800, E5500, and V1910 families.
