The AddOn Q28-100GP4-BXU49-40-AR-AO is an Arista Networks compatible QSFP28 transceiver designed to deliver 100Gbps 100GBase-BX ER1 connectivity over single-mode fiber. Using PAM4 signaling and a bidirectional single-lambda design, it supports transmission distances up to 40 kilometers through an LC connector. The transceiver operates with 1304.58nm transmit and 1309.14nm receive wavelengths and must be paired with a complementary wavelength transceiver or compatible network appliance.
Built to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this AddOn module is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application performance to ensure reliable initialization and operation in Arista Networks environments. It complies with QSFP28 MSA, 100G Lambda MSA 100G-ER1, and SFF-8636 Rev. 2.10a standards for seamless integration with compliant networking equipment. An integrated KP4 forward error correction capability helps support dependable single-mode fiber connectivity, while the 4x25G electrical interface enables full 100Gbps performance.
Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides access to real-time operating parameters for proactive network management and maintenance. The module uses a single 3.3V power supply, supports commercial operating temperatures from 32°F to 158°F, and is RoHS compliant and lead free.
