B164 Bronze Thru-Hull - 50/200 kHz - 1 kW - 12 Tilted Element - Requires Mix Match Cable

12 tilted version for 8 to 15 hull deadrise angles. Step up to a 1 kWwithout a fairing! The 1 kW, flush-mount, Tilted Element transducer is perfect for fast, trailered vessels that cannot accommodate a High-performance Fairing. The flush-mounted, bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (1/4) below the hull so that it can sit on trailer rollers and bunks. The ceramic arrays are tilted within the housing, providing a perfectly vertical beam with maximum energy at the point directly below the boat.

Features:

  • Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing
  • 1 kW of power
  • Dual-frequency elements:
  • 50 kHz with a wide 22 beamwidth for depth performance to 549 m (1800)
  • 200 kHz with a 6 beamwidth for depth performance to 244 m (800)
  • Interfaces to any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder
  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats
  • Low-profile bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25) below the hull
  • No effect on the boats running performance
  • Available in a stainless steel housing (SS164) for use in all hull materials
  • Patented Xducer ID technology

The Airmar B164 Bronze Thru-Hull transducer is designed for efficient performance on fast, trailered vessels that require a low-profile installation. Its flush-mounted bronze housing extends less than ¼ inch below the hull, making it suitable for trailer rollers and bunks without impacting the boat’s running performance. The 12° tilted element ensures a vertical beam with maximum energy directly beneath the vessel, providing high-quality depth and water-temperature data for a variety of marine applications. Perfect for fiberglass or wood hulls, this transducer supports deadrise angles from 8 to 15 degrees, making it versatile for different boat configurations. Its dual-frequency capability delivers detailed scans at both 50 kHz, with a 22° beamwidth for depths up to 1,800 feet, and 200 kHz, with a 6° beamwidth for depths up to 800 feet, allowing for precise fish finding and bottom tracking. The unit interfaces seamlessly with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder, offering reliable performance across multiple marine electronics systems. Engineered for center-console and trailered boats, the B164’s rugged bronze construction ensures durability in harsh marine environments. It features integrated depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing, enhancing its functionality for fishing, yachting, and recreational boating. The transducer includes a 6.5-foot cable with a 9-pin connector compatible with Airmar's MM1 series, and its patented Xducer ID technology simplifies setup and device recognition. The model is also available with a stainless steel housing (SS164) for use on all hull materials, providing flexibility for various vessel types. Its compact, low-profile design and high power output make it an essential component for boaters seeking reliable, high-performance sonar data without affecting vessel speed or handling.

Features:

  • Depth and water-temperature sensing for accurate readings
  • Power rating of 1 kW for strong signal performance
  • Dual-frequency elements: 50 kHz with 22° beamwidth for deep water, 200 kHz with 6° beamwidth for shallower depths
  • Compatible with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder systems
  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats with low-profile bronze housing
  • Housing extends less than ¼ inch below hull, suitable for trailer use
  • Supports deadrise angles from 8 to 15 degrees
  • Patented Xducer ID technology for easy setup
  • Includes a 6.5-foot cable with 9-pin connector
