B164 Bronze Thru-Hull - 50/200 kHz - 1 kW - 12 Tilted Element - Requires Mix Match Cable

20 tilted version for 16 to 24 hull deadrise angles. Step up to a 1 kWwithout a fairing! The 1 kW, flush-mount, Tilted Element transducer is perfect for fast, trailered vessels that cannot accommodate a High-performance Fairing. The flush-mounted, bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (1/4) below the hull so that it can sit on trailer rollers and bunks. The ceramic arrays are tilted within the housing, providing a perfectly vertical beam with maximum energy at the point directly below the boat.

Features:

  • Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing
  • 1 kW of power
  • Dual-frequency elements:
  • 50 kHz with a wide 22 beamwidth for depth performance to 549 m (1800)
  • 200 kHz with a 6 beamwidth for depth performance to 244 m (800)
  • Interfaces to any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder
  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats
  • Low-profile bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25) below the hull
  • No effect on the boats running performance
  • Available in a stainless steel housing (SS164) for use in all hull materials
  • Patented Xducer ID technology

The Airmar B164 Bronze Thru-Hull transducer is designed for reliable performance on trailered and center-console boats, providing high-resolution depth and water temperature data. Its compact, low-profile bronze housing extends less than 1/4 inch below the hull, making it suitable for boats with trailer rollers and bunks without affecting running performance. The transducer features a 12° tilted element that optimizes beam alignment for precise readings directly beneath the vessel, accommodating hull deadrise angles from 16 to 24 degrees. Its dual-frequency operation at 50 kHz and 200 kHz offers versatile depth performance, with the 50 kHz setting reaching depths of up to 1800 feet and the 200 kHz providing detailed imaging up to 800 feet. The ceramic arrays within the housing are engineered for maximum energy transfer, ensuring fast response times and accurate readings even at high speeds. Designed for use with any 600 or 1000 watt echo sounder, this transducer seamlessly integrates into existing fishing, yachting, or leisure setups, making it an excellent choice for serious anglers and boaters alike.

Constructed with durable bronze, the B164 is built to withstand harsh marine environments. Its features include depth and temperature sensing, a 2-meter (6.5 ft) cable for flexible installation, and patented Xducer ID technology to prevent misidentification. The transducer's conventional dual-beam configuration offers a wide 22° beamwidth at low frequency and a narrower 6° beam at high frequency, providing both broad area coverage and detailed imaging. The Airmar B164 is compatible with fiberglass or wood hulls and is suitable for vessels up to 36 feet long. Its straightforward mounting style and robust construction make it ideal for demanding marine applications where reliable, high-performance sonar data is essential for navigation, fishing, or recreational boating.

Features:

  • Depth and water-temperature sensing for comprehensive underwater data
  • Power output of 1 kW for strong signal transmission
  • Dual-frequency elements: 50 kHz with 22° beamwidth for deep water performance up to 1800 feet, and 200 kHz with 6° beamwidth for detailed imaging up to 800 feet
  • Compatible with any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder
  • Engineered for center-console and trailered boats with a low-profile bronze housing
  • Housing extends less than 1/4 inch below the hull to prevent interference
  • Patented Xducer ID technology for easy identification and setup
  • Constructed from durable bronze material suitable for harsh marine environments
  • Includes depth and temperature sensing capabilities
  • Two-meter (6.5 ft) cable for flexible installation
