B175MW Med Ultra Wide 20, 1KW Chirp Thru-Hull Transducer with 8-Pin Connector for Garmin

Airmars innovative transducer designs have revolutionized the fishing world, and they continue to do so with the Chirp-ready B175 Medium Ultra-Wide (MW) Tilted Element Thru-hull transducer. The B175MW takes transducer design and performance to a whole new level by using medium frequency (60-100 kHz) with an incredible ultra-wide beamwidth ranging from 57-73 port-starboard to 16 average fore-aft. Maximum coverage under the boat is achieved with this medium-frequency transducer, serving anglers who target pelagic species in the upper water column.

Airmars Medium Ultra-Wide models are perfect for seeking deeper species with a frequency band from 60-100 kHz. When paired with our other popular models such as the B275LHW, provides the angler with a broad set of frequencies (Low, Medium-Wide, High-Wide) to interrogate targets from deep to shallow.

The B175MW Tilted Element Thru-hull is a 1 kW transducer housed in one of AIRMARs most popular Tilted Element housings which includes a ceramic element fixed at a 20 angle. Because the transducer is installed almost flush with the hull, the tilted element corrects for the hull deadrise and orients the ceramic element vertically to ensure maximum echo returns to the transducer.

Features:

  • Fixed 20 tilted version for 16 to 24 hull deadrise
  • 8 Pin Connector for Garmin FishFinders
  • Depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor
  • 1 kW with depth tracking down to 400 m (1,300#39;)
  • Medium frequency: 60-100 kHz
  • 57 to 73 beamwidth (port/starboard)
  • 16 average fore/aft
  • 40 kHz of total bandwidth from one transducer
  • Medium frequency for superior mid-depth performance and excellent fish-target separation
  • Bronze housing for use on stepped, planing, or displacement hull
  • Low-profile, thru-hull housing yields good resolution at speed when installed properly
  • Exclusive Xducer ID technology

The Airmar B175MW Medium Ultra-Wide (MW) tilt-mounted thru-hull transducer is designed for anglers seeking exceptional performance at mid-depth ranges. Engineered with a medium frequency range of 60-100 kHz, this transducer offers an ultra-wide beamwidth spanning from 57 to 73 degrees port-starboard and an average of 16 degrees fore-aft, providing broad coverage under the boat. Its innovative design ensures optimal signal return by orienting the ceramic element at a 20-degree tilt, compensating for hull deadrise and maximizing echo clarity. The bronze housing makes it suitable for various hull types, including fiberglass and wood, and the low-profile configuration supports high-speed operation with minimal resolution loss. Equipped with a depth capacity of up to 400 meters (about 1,300 feet) and a fast-response water-temperature sensor, this transducer is ideal for targeting pelagic species in deep or mid-depth waters. The integrated 8-pin connector ensures compatibility with Garmin fishfinders, simplifying installation and integration into your sonar system. With a power rating of 1 kW, the B175MW delivers reliable, high-quality imaging essential for serious fishing applications. Its versatility is further enhanced with exclusive Xducer ID technology, ensuring precise identification and operation within your sonar setup. Constructed from durable bronze and featuring urethane acoustic windows, this transducer is built to withstand harsh marine environments. The product includes a 9 to 10-meter cable, offering flexible mounting options, and is suitable for vessels up to 36 feet with a maximum deadrise of 24 degrees. Whether you fish in deep waters or target pelagic species, the Airmar B175MW combines advanced technology and rugged construction to deliver superior performance and clarity.
