B60 12 Degree Tilt Thru Hull Req Mix Match Cable

The B60 is a 600 W, 50/200 kHz transducer that integrates Airmars popular Tilted Element feature. This Tilted Element transducer has the ceramic element fixed at either a 20 or 12 angle within the housing. When the transducer is installed almost flush to the hull, the tilt of the element corrects for the hull deadrise angle. By orienting the beam directly down, it ensures maximum echo returns to the transducer for more-accurate depth readings.

Features:

  • Depth and fast-response water temperature sensing
  • 600W of power
  • Dual-frequency element:
  • 50 kHz with a wide 45 beamwidth for depth performance to 353 m (1200)
  • 200 kHz with a 12 beamwidth for depth performance to 206 m (700)
  • Perfect for center-console or trailered boats
  • Low-profile bronze housing extends only 5 mm (3/16) outside the hull
  • No effect on your boats running performance
  • Bronze housing for fiberglass or wood hull
  • Also available in a stainless steel housing (SS60) for use with all hull materials

The Airmar B60-12-MM is a 600-watt, dual-frequency transducer designed for accurate depth and water temperature readings on small to medium-sized boats. Featuring a 12-degree tilted element, this transducer is optimized for installations where the hull's deadrise angle requires correction, ensuring the sonar beam is directed straight down for maximum echo return. Its low-profile bronze housing extends only 3/16 inch outside the hull, making it suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls without affecting the boat’s performance. This design is ideal for center-console and trailered boats up to 26 feet long, providing reliable underwater sensing in a compact form factor. The transducer supports depths up to 366 meters at low frequency and 206 meters at high frequency, making it well-suited for fishing, yachting, and leisure activities. Its durable bronze housing is built to withstand the rigors of marine environments, and it is available in stainless steel for versatility across different hull materials. The unit also features a urethane acoustic window for clear signal transmission and includes a mix and match cable for flexible installation options. The B60-12-MM is engineered to operate efficiently with a maximum deadrise angle of 24 degrees, ensuring precise readings despite hull angles or vessel movement. Its compact weight of 3 pounds and straightforward mounting style make installation quick and secure, providing consistent performance whether used for depth measurement or water temperature sensing. Overall, the Airmar B60-12-MM is a reliable, high-performance transducer designed to enhance your boat’s sonar capabilities with minimal impact on vessel performance and maximum accuracy under various conditions.
