The Airmar CM599LH is a high-performance, pocket-mounted transducer designed for deep-water fishing and commercial applications. With a power rating of 2 to 3 kW, this transducer delivers exceptional deep-water performance, capable of reaching depths up to 10,000 feet. Its dual-band CHIRP technology provides a broad frequency range, covering 28 to 60 kHz for low-frequency operations and 130 to 210 kHz for high-frequency precision. This versatility allows anglers and professionals to target a wide range of species including swordfish, tuna, and other large pelagic fish in challenging environments. The transducer features a twenty-four-element array for low-frequency operation, ensuring excellent coverage and resolution, while the high-frequency ceramic delivers fine detail with a narrow beamwidth of 8 to 4 degrees, ideal for pinpointing fish in deep waters. Built with a resin housing and curved-edge design, it allows for flexible wet-box installation in various vessel configurations, including cavities or welded tanks. The transducer supports installation in vessels with any deadrise angle and is suitable for use on boats over 8 meters (25 feet) in length. Its innovative Xducer ID technology simplifies identification and setup, making integration straightforward. The device also provides real-time water temperature sensing, which is crucial for understanding fish behavior and optimizing fishing strategies. The transducer’s 15-meter (49-foot) cable offers ample reach for most vessel setups. Its rugged construction from urethane ensures durability in harsh marine environments, while its compatibility with fiberglass or metal hulls makes it versatile for a variety of vessels. The CM599LH is an ideal choice for serious anglers and commercial fishermen seeking reliable, high-resolution sonar imaging at great depths, with the flexibility of installation options and broad frequency coverage to adapt to different fishing conditions.
