DST810 Plastic Smart Sensor 235kHz - NMEA 2000 - Bluetooth
Depth, Speed-Through-Water, Water Temperature, Boat Attitude
For a product to be considered a breakthrough, it has to vastly change conventional behavior and enhance abilities. The DST810 Smart Multisensor, featuring the new Gen2 paddlewheel together with Airmar's CAST App, is the convergence of advanced hull data, matched with a simple and reliable way to calibrate accurate speed via a wireless device. This changes how boaters receive and deliver information to get greater performance from their hull. It is a simple, consistent way to calibrate speed-through-water regardless of what display system is on board. The DST810 and Airmar CAST App deliver capabilities that until now, were only available through expensive PC-based software.
Besides water temperature, depth, and upgraded 5 Hz (5X per second) speed-through-water output, the DST810 features an integrated attitude sensor for heel and trim data. This information, combined with Airmars powerful and simple CAST App, makes heel-compensated speed calibration across multiple heel angles and speed ranges both fast and intuitive and is independent of the onboard instruments.
All speed calibrations and NMEA configurations are stored in the DST810 sensornot in the displays.

Wireless connectivity to Airmar's CAST App has user-friendly benefits:
The Perfect Sensor for Every Use
SAILING
POWERBOATS
Airmar DST810-PV-N2 Plastic Smart Multisensor combines depth, speed-through-water, water temperature, heel, and trim data in one reliable sensor for sailing and powerboat applications. Operating at 235 kHz, it provides dependable depth information while the integrated Gen2 paddlewheel delivers smooth 5 Hz speed-through-water output for faster, more responsive readings. NMEA 2000 connectivity allows the sensor to share data across compatible onboard networks.
The integrated attitude sensor supplies heel and trim information, supporting more accurate performance data and practical installation flexibility. Attitude calibration helps compensate for off-center mounting, while the Airmar CAST App provides a convenient wireless way to configure the sensor and calibrate speed independently of the vessel’s display brand or model. Heel-compensated calibration can be completed across multiple heel angles and speed ranges, helping improve speed-through-water accuracy under changing operating conditions.
All speed calibrations and NMEA configurations are stored directly in the Airmar DST810-PV-N2 rather than in the connected display. Through Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity, the CAST App can enable or disable PGNs, adjust offsets, set output rates, and support advanced manual speed entries for multiple heel angles and speeds. The sensor is designed for hulls with deadrise up to 22 degrees and supports depths from 1.6 feet to 330 feet, speeds up to 45 knots, and water temperatures from 14°F to 104°F. A 20-foot DeviceNet NMEA 2000 cable is included, and the sensor operates on 9 to 16 VDC.
For sailing vessels, the DST810-PV-N2 provides smooth speed data, depth, water temperature, heel-corrected speed-through-water, heel, and trim from one installed multisensor. For powerboats, it supplies speed, depth, pitch and roll, and water temperature while supporting straightforward depth offsets and speed corrections through the CAST App. This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase; contact the manufacturer directly for product issues or concerns.
