Airmar SS175C-12-L 12d Tilt Low CHIRP With No Connector

The Airmar SS175C-12-L is a high-performance, low-profile transducer designed for deep water applications on boats up to 36 feet. Featuring a 12-degree tilt and Low CHIRP technology, this transducer offers exceptional depth and water temperature readings with a maximum depth capability of 2,500 feet. Its stainless steel housing ensures durability and reliable operation in various hull materials including fiberglass, wood, and metal, making it suitable for stepped, planing, or displacement hulls. The transducer's low frequency range of 40 kHz to 60 kHz provides excellent deep water coverage and tracking, ideal for anglers and boaters who venture into challenging depths or require precise fish finding and navigation data. The unique Xducer ID technology simplifies installation and ensures the transducer is correctly configured for optimal performance, reducing setup time and enhancing reliability.

This tilted element transducer is almost flush-mounted to the hull, with the ceramic element fixed at a 12-degree angle to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring maximum echo return and accurate depth readings. Its design supports high-speed operation without sacrificing image resolution, providing clear, detailed sonar images even in demanding conditions. The SS175C-12-L is also available with a bronze housing (B175L) for use in fiberglass and wood hulls, offering versatile installation options. Its compatibility with a variety of boat sizes and hull types makes it an excellent choice for serious deep water anglers or commercial operators needing dependable, long-range sonar capabilities.

Constructed with seven internal broadband ceramic assemblies, this transducer delivers a broad bandwidth for enhanced signal clarity and resolution. The urethane acoustic window protects the internal components, ensuring longevity and consistent performance. Weighing approximately 6 pounds, this transducer is designed to be installed with a 3-7/8 inch hole and can handle hull deadrise angles ranging from 8 to 15 degrees. Its robust stainless steel housing and advanced technology make it a reliable, long-lasting sonar solution for demanding marine environments.
