Airmar SS175C-20-L 20d Tilt Low CHIRP with Garmin 12-Pin

The Airmar SS175C-20-L is a high-performance low CHIRP transducer designed for deep water fishing and boating applications. Equipped with a 1 kW power output, this transducer provides exceptional depth performance up to 2,500 feet (762 meters) with a low-frequency range of 40 kHz to 60 kHz. Its 20-degree tilt feature ensures optimal orientation for accurate readings, making it suitable for boats up to 36 feet in length. Crafted with a durable stainless steel housing, the SS175C-20-L is ideal for use on stepped, planing, or displacement hulls made of fiberglass, wood, or metal. The transducer incorporates exclusive Xducer ID(R) technology for reliable identification and compatibility with compatible fish finders and chart plotters.
Designed for easy installation, this transducer is almost flush-mounted to the hull, with tilt adjustment capabilities that compensate for hull deadrise angles between 16 and 24 degrees. This feature ensures that the ceramic element remains horizontally aligned, maximizing echo return strength and image clarity. The low-profile design makes it an excellent choice for smaller boats and center console vessels, providing excellent deep water coverage and tracking accuracy in challenging conditions. The SS175C-20-L also features seven internal broadband ceramic assemblies, contributing to its robust performance and signal clarity. Suitable for fiberglass, wooden, and metal hulls, it is available with a bronze housing model (B175L) for specific applications.
Constructed with a urethane acoustic window, this transducer ensures durability and effective sound transmission. Its hole size of 3-7/8 inches (98 mm) allows for straightforward installation. The transducer weighs approximately 6 pounds (2.7 kg), making it a manageable addition to your vessel. Please note, this product complies with Prop 65 warning regulations regarding cancer and reproductive harm. Overall, the Airmar SS175C-20-L is an excellent choice for serious anglers and boaters seeking reliable, deep-water sonar performance with easy integration into Garmin systems and other compatible devices.
