The Allied Telesis PC2000/SC transceiver and media converter provides a reliable way to extend network connectivity and deliver power to remote devices located beyond the standard Ethernet distance limit. With 10/100/1000T twisted-pair connectivity and a fixed 1000SX multimode fiber interface using an SC connector, the AT-PC2000/SC-960 converts both network media and connection speed while supporting remote devices such as IP phones, security cameras, wireless access points, and other IEEE 802.3at-compliant equipment. The copper port supports network runs up to 328 feet, while the multimode fiber connection can reach up to 1.24 miles, depending on the installed fiber infrastructure and network conditions.

PoE+ and Remote Power Cycling
The PC2000/SC supplies up to 30W of Power over Ethernet Plus power through the copper connection, allowing a remote powered device to operate without a separate local power source. Its remote power-cycle capability automatically cycles PoE+ power when the fiber link is dropped, enabling administrators to reset connected equipment remotely without traveling to the installation site. Smart MissingLink™ monitors network segments and provides notification when a connection fails, helping identify problems quickly and reduce downtime.

Flexible Network Integration
Designed for modern network environments, the Allied Telesis PC2000/SC supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN traffic and jumbo frames up to 10K bytes. Store-and-forward switching, a 4K MAC address table, auto MDI/MDI-X, and compatibility with multimode fiber support dependable operation across a range of network applications. The wall-mountable design and internal power supply allow flexible placement in network closets, remote enclosures, and other space-constrained locations. The package includes the PC2000/SC media converter and a multi-region AC power supply for use with US, UK, Australian, and European outlets.
