The integrated PoE+ capability delivers up to 30W of power, enabling remote devices to operate without additional power supplies, simplifying deployment and reducing clutter.

The PC2000/SP features an SFP port compatible with multimode, single-mode, and BiDi optics, allowing distances up to 2 km with 100Mbps or 550 meters with 1Gbps. For longer distances, users can upgrade to long-range SFP modules, extending connectivity options. The device also includes a 10/100/1000T twisted pair port that supports auto MDI/MDI-X, facilitating plug-and-play setup. In addition to transmitting data, the converter injects power down the cable, supporting IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standards, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of PoE+ devices. The device also supports jumbo frames up to 10K bytes, enhancing performance for data-intensive applications.

Advanced network management features include the Smart Missing Link (SML), which monitors network connections and provides notifications when segments fail, allowing administrators to promptly identify and resolve issues.
