Ancor 102510 16 AWG Orange Tinned Copper Wire, 100 Feet

Ancor Part Number 102510 marine-grade wire features 16 AWG tinned copper conductors with a Type 3 ultra-flexible stranding design. The orange wire is supplied in a 100-foot length and uses 26 strands of 30 AWG copper for flexibility and resistance to fatigue caused by vibration and repeated flexing.

Premium vinyl insulation is rated for 600 volts, up to 221°F (105°C) in dry conditions and 167°F (75°C) in wet conditions. The insulation stays flexible to -40°F (-40°C) and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion and ultraviolet radiation.

Designed for demanding marine wiring environments, the tinned copper construction helps protect against corrosion and electrolysis. Ancor states that this wire exceeds UL 1426, ABYC and U.S. Coast Guard Charter boat standards under CFR Title 46.

This wire has a 2,600 circular mil area, a 1.31 mm² cross-sectional area and a resistance of 4.00 ohms per 1,000 feet. Its nominal outside diameter is 1/8 inch, with a minimum bend radius of 31/32 inch.
