Ancor 102710 16 AWG Purple Tinned Copper Wire, 100-Foot Spool

Ancor Part Number 102710 is a 16 AWG purple marine-grade wire supplied on a 100-foot spool. It features tinned copper conductors with Type 3 ultra-flexible stranding, designed to provide corrosion protection and resist fatigue caused by vibration and repeated flexing.

The premium vinyl insulation is rated for 600 volts, 221°F dry and 167°F wet operation. It remains flexible to -40°F and resists salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion and ultraviolet radiation.

This wire uses 26 strands of 30 AWG tinned copper and has a 2,600 circular mil area. Ancor states that the product exceeds UL 1426, ABYC and U.S. Coast Guard Charter Boat CFR Title 46 standards. The purple insulation supports color-coded wiring installations where that color is required.
