The Ancor 305603 Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing offers a reliable solution for electrical insulation and protection in demanding environments. Each package includes three sections of red tubing, measuring 3 inches in length with a 1/2-inch diameter, which efficiently shrinks to a 5/32-inch diameter when activated. Designed to accommodate wire ranges from 8 to 4 AWG, this tubing is ideal for a variety of marine, automotive, and industrial applications. The cross-linked polyolefin material provides superior strength compared to PVC, ensuring durability and resistance to environmental stressors. Its heat-activated adhesive lining creates a robust, waterproof seal that guards against salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight, while also providing strain relief to prevent wire damage. With a high shrink ratio of 3:1, the tubing shrinks at 257°F (125°C), making installation straightforward even in tight spaces.
