The Ancor Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing (ALT) provides a reliable solution for protecting and insulating wiring in demanding environments. Each pack includes three 12-inch sections of black heat shrink tubing that start with a 1-inch diameter and shrink to approximately 5/16 inch (0.3125 inch) for a secure fit. Designed to accommodate wire ranges of 2-4/0 AWG, this tubing ensures versatile application across various electrical projects. Its cross-linked polyolefin construction offers superior strength compared to PVC tubing and eliminates concerns about burning or melting during use. The heat-activated adhesive lining creates an impervious seal against salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight, making it ideal for marine, automotive, and industrial applications. The tubing exhibits a high shrink ratio, shrinking to one-third of its original size when heated to 257°F (125°C), and maintains flexibility across a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 110°C.
