The Ancor Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing offers a reliable solution for wire insulation and protection in various applications. Each pack includes three sections of durable black tubing, measuring 3 inches in length with a 3/4 inch diameter before shrinking. Designed to protect wire ranges from 8 to 2/0 AWG, this tubing provides a secure and insulating cover for a variety of wiring needs. The cross-linked polyolefin construction ensures superior strength and temperature resistance compared to standard PVC tubing, making it suitable for demanding environments.
The heat-activated adhesive lining in this tubing creates an impervious seal when shrunk, providing excellent resistance to salt water, oil, acids, and sunlight. This feature not only enhances moisture and chemical resistance but also helps provide strain relief, reducing the risk of wire damage. The tubing exhibits one of the highest shrink ratios, shrinking to approximately one-third of its original size when heated, which ensures a snug fit around wires and connectors. With a shrinking temperature of 257°F (125°C) and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 110°C, it is ideal for a broad range of temperature conditions. Certified under UL 224, it meets safety and quality standards for electrical insulation.
