The APC by Schneider Electric SRTDBP3KR2-LA Smart-UPS On-Line external battery pack extends runtime for compatible 2-3kVA next-generation Smart-UPS On-Line systems. Designed for rack and tower deployments, this external battery pack helps support continued operation during extended power interruptions while preserving the flexible architecture of the Smart-UPS platform. It is compatible with current valve-regulated lead-acid battery technology and supports the platform’s multi-chemistry design for future battery technology options.
Up to 10 SRTDBP3KR2-LA battery packs can be daisy-chained to provide scalable runtime extension based on connected equipment and load requirements. This modular approach allows organizations to expand backup capacity as power protection needs evolve without replacing the UPS system. Advanced battery management supports battery performance optimization, automatic battery detection, and battery health status monitoring to help simplify maintenance and improve operational visibility.
The hot-swappable design enables battery maintenance and replacement without shutting down connected equipment, helping reduce service interruptions and support continuous availability. With investment protection, flexible battery support, and compatibility with APC Smart-UPS 2-3kVA On-Line UPS systems, the APC SRTDBP3KR2-LA is well suited for network closets, server rooms, edge computing environments, and other business-critical applications.
