Certified SAE J1171 and made in the USA, the A275L is built to meet rigorous standards for quality and reliability. Its robust construction includes a 12-volt system, 16 rotor poles, a 138mm stator, and a large frame size, with a weight of approximately 15 pounds. The alternator features an internal regulation system with an optional external regulation adaptor, and it provides a default voltage of 14.1 volts. It includes a 6-groove pulley, threaded shaft, and high-capacity diodes rated at 50A, capable of delivering up to 311 amps at cold start and maintaining over 200 amps during hot cruising conditions. Designed for Mercedes Sprinter models from 1999 onward, it also serves as a replacement for factory dual alternators in various applications.
