The ASUS ROG Strix B850-F GAMING WIFI is an ATX gaming desktop motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset with an AM5 socket. It supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series desktop processors, along with DDR5 memory and ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile technology. Its 16+2+2 power solution uses 80A-rated stages, dual ProCool power connectors, alloy chokes, and durable capacitors to support multi-core processors.

Storage and expansion capabilities include two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, and PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlots with PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim. The board also provides up to 19 USB ports, including a USB 20Gbps Type-C front-panel connector, USB 10Gbps ports, HDMI, DisplayPort, and support for a Thunderbolt host interface. Integrated cooling includes substantial M.2 cooling solutions, massive heatsinks, an integrated I/O cover, and a high-conductivity thermal pad.

For networking, the motherboard combines onboard WiFi 7 based on the IEEE 802.11be standard with Intel 2.5 Gb Ethernet and ASUS AI Networking II.
