The ATEN KE8900SR Slim HDMI Single-Display KVM over IP Receiver provides secure, flexible remote access to a computer system through a USB keyboard, USB mouse, and HDMI monitor. Designed for use with the KE Series, this compact receiver helps locate computers in secure, temperature-controlled areas while allowing users to operate them from a separate workstation over a Gigabit Ethernet network. The KE8900SR can pair with a KE Series transmitter or receiver to support point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-point deployments.

Supporting HDMI 1.4a and HDCP 1.4, the KE8900SR delivers resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz with 24-bit color depth. Its advanced processor provides low-latency, lossless video transmission, while USB Virtual Media and RS-232 support expand access and control capabilities. The receiver can be configured through its local on-screen display, RS-232 or Telnet text menu, or ATEN KE Matrix Management Software, also known as CCKM.

When used with CCKM, the ATEN KE8900SR supports advanced KVM over IP matrix functions, including boundless switching, fast switching, video walls, multi-display configurations, profile scheduling, automatic extender detection, and centralized authentication and authorization. AES encryption helps protect video, keyboard, mouse, and USB data, while RADIUS, LDAP, and Active Directory support provide additional authentication options for enterprise environments.

The slim, lightweight, fanless design supports quiet, energy-efficient operation in control rooms, broadcasting facilities, manufacturing environments, multimedia installations, and other applications requiring centralized computer access. The receiver is wall mountable and compatible with the VE-RMK 1U Extender Rack Mount Kit. Built-in electrostatic discharge and surge protection helps safeguard connected equipment, and Auto-MDIX automatically detects the connected Ethernet cable type. The KE8900SR includes a power adapter, mounting kit, HDMI LockPro, and user instructions, and is backed by a three-year limited warranty.
