The ATEN KE8900ST Slim HDMI Single-Display KVM over IP Transmitter provides secure, remote access to a computer through a USB keyboard, USB mouse, and HDMI monitor connected over a Gigabit Ethernet network. Designed for environments where computers need to remain in secure, temperature-controlled areas, this compact transmitter separates the workstation from the user while maintaining responsive control and high-quality video transmission.

With support for HDMI video input, the KE8900ST delivers resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz with 24-bit color depth. Advanced video processing provides lossless compression and low-latency performance for dependable operation in control rooms, broadcast facilities, manufacturing environments, multimedia applications, and other centralized computing installations. USB Virtual Media support enables remote access to storage and other USB resources, while RS-232 serial commands provide additional configuration and control options.

The fanless ATEN KE8900ST is engineered for quiet, energy-efficient operation and can be installed on a desktop, mounted to a wall, or installed at the rear of a rack using its space-saving 0U mounting design. It can operate in point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-point configurations, or integrate with the KE Matrix Management Software for a multipoint-to-multipoint KVM over IP matrix system. The software enables advanced capabilities including boundless switching, fast switching, video walls, multi-display layouts, profile scheduling, automatic extender detection, and centralized authentication.

Security and reliability features include AES encryption for video, keyboard, mouse, and USB data, along with RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and remote user authentication support. HDMI 1.4a and HDCP 1.4 compliance, Auto-MDIX, built-in ESD and surge protection, and included mounting hardware make the KE8900ST a flexible solution for professional remote computer management. The package includes a USB HDMI KVM cable, power adapter, mounting kit, HDMI LockPro, and user instructions, backed by a three-year limited warranty.
