Leveraging patented ExtremeUSB® technology, this device allows users to extend true USB 2.0 signals at up to 480 Mbps across a Gigabit Ethernet LAN, significantly surpassing the typical 5-meter cable limit for USB connections. Its plug-and-play design ensures quick setup, with pre-paired local and remote units identified through MAC addresses, eliminating the need for manual pairing during installation. This feature simplifies deployment in various environments, including offices, conference rooms, or industrial settings. Compatible with all major operating systems such as Windows®, OS X®, and Linux®, the extender supports a wide range of USB peripherals, including keyboards, mice, webcams, flash drives, interactive whiteboards, and external hard drives, making it a versatile addition to any workspace or digital signage setup.
