The ATEN KE6900AR is a high-performance DVI-I single display KVM over IP receiver designed to extend console access over an IP network. It allows IT administrators to control connected computers remotely via DVI or VGA video output, USB keyboard, and mouse, making it ideal for managing systems located in secure or environmentally controlled environments. The receiver supports seamless, lossless video transmission at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz with 24-bit color depth, ensuring high-quality visuals for critical applications.
Equipped with dual power supplies and network failover features, including dual DC jacks and both RJ45 and SFP fiber ports, the KE6900AR guarantees continuous operation even during power or network outages. When combined with the ATEN KE6900AT transmitter, the receiver can extend control over distances up to 10 kilometers using fiber optic SFP modules, making it suitable for distributed or multi-location setups. Its rack-mountable form factor facilitates easy integration into existing data center or server room environments.
The device supports various network configurations, including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-point setups, and can be incorporated into a KVM over IP matrix system with ATEN’s management software. This software enables auto-discovery of devices, secure user authentication via RADIUS, LDAP, or Active Directory, and AES-128 encryption for data security.
