The ATEN VE2812PR is a high-performance HDMI HDBaseT receiver designed to extend 4K and Full HD signals over long distances with exceptional reliability. Utilizing Class A HDBaseT technology, this device transmits 4K HDMI video, audio, and control signals up to 100 meters (approximately 330 feet) via standard Cat 5e, 6, or 6a cables, making it ideal for boardrooms, lecture halls, and digital signage setups. When operating in HDBaseT Long Reach Mode, the VE2812PR can extend HDMI signals up to 150 meters (around 492 feet) at 1080p resolution, providing flexibility for various installation requirements.

The VE2812PR features bi-directional Power over HDBaseT (PoH) capability, allowing it to be remotely powered by a PoH-enabled transmitter or distribute power along the cable from a PSE-enabled source. This ensures simplified wiring and reduces the need for additional power supplies. Its audio de-embedding function extracts the audio stream from the HDMI source, enabling separate transmission via Coaxial S/PDIF or stereo output. This feature supports integration with external audio systems for enhanced audio management in complex setups.

Supporting various HDMI features such as 3D, Deep Color, 4K resolution, and HDCP 2.2 compliance, the VE2812PR guarantees high-quality, uncompressed content transmission. The device also includes RS-232 serial communication for remote control and management, as well as bi-directional IR ports for seamless AV system integration.
