The Axiom SFP-17AD-AX 1000BASE-BX10-U SFP transceiver is designed for RAD networking equipment and MSA-compliant platforms requiring dependable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. This upstream bi-directional SFP, also known as a mini-GBIC, is pre-configured with application-specific coding to support compatibility with OEM network devices while delivering performance, fit, and function comparable to an original transceiver.
Built for single-mode fiber optic networks, the Axiom SFP-17AD-AX supports high-speed data transmission over extended distances with low attenuation and dispersion. Its optical design operates across the 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelength range, helping maintain signal integrity between servers, switches, routers, and other network components. Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) provides visibility into operating conditions to assist with network administration and troubleshooting.
Each Axiom bi-directional SFP transceiver includes part-number identification and unique product serialization to simplify asset management and help prevent network communication conflicts. The module is fully compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), enabling use across compatible platforms and with other compatible brands within the same network.
