The Axiom MGBIC-BX80-D-AX 1000BASE-BX80-D SFP transceiver is designed for Enterasys network equipment and provides dependable Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over single-mode optical fiber. This downstream bi-directional SFP, also known as a mini-GBIC, supports data transfer rates up to 1,000 Mbps for efficient communication between network switches, servers, and other compatible components.
Built for straightforward integration, this Axiom transceiver is fully compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), enabling operation in MSA-compliant platforms. It is pre-configured with application-specific coding to support compatibility with OEM networking environments and includes a unique part number and product serialization to simplify identification while helping prevent network communication conflicts. Axiom transceivers are designed to perform, fit, and function like their original-equipment counterparts and can operate alongside compatible products from other manufacturers on the same network.
