The Axiom PCIE3-2SFPP-AX is a high-performance dual-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter designed for servers, workstations, and client systems. Built around the Intel X710-BM2 controller, this PCIe 3.0 x8 plug-in card delivers dependable throughput and advanced capabilities for demanding data center, virtualization, LAN, and SAN environments. Its two SFP+ ports provide flexible fiber connectivity for high-speed links between servers, switches, and other network infrastructure.
Installed in a PCI Express 3.0 x8 slot, the Axiom 10GbE adapter supports efficient data movement with low processor utilization. It delivers wire-rate performance for small packets and line-rate throughput for large application buffers, helping support file services, virtualization, cloud workloads, and high-volume data transfers. Network virtualization offloads include Geneve, VXLAN, and NVGRE, while storage-focused features support NAS protocols such as NFS and SMB along with SAN technologies including iSCSI and FCoE.
With 10GBase-X support, the PCIE3-2SFPP-AX uses compatible optical fiber connections to help extend network reach while maintaining high-speed data transmission.
