The Axiom XBR-000218-AX 10Gbps Fibre Channel Shortwave SFP+ Transceiver is designed for Brocade networking equipment and MSA-compliant platforms. This compatible optical transceiver is pre-configured with application-specific coding to support reliable integration with OEM routers, switches, and Fibre Channel environments. It is engineered to perform, fit, and function like an original transceiver while also supporting interoperability with compatible products from other manufacturers.
Using 10GBase-SW technology, this Axiom SFP+ transceiver supports data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbps over multimode optical fiber. Fiber connectivity enables high-speed communication between servers, switches, and other network components while supporting the longer-distance links required in data center and enterprise network installations. Multimode fiber compatibility helps accommodate high-bandwidth transmission across multiple wavelengths for dependable data delivery.
The hot-swappable form factor allows installation or replacement without powering down compatible equipment, helping reduce service interruptions and simplify network maintenance. Axiom part-number identification and unique product serialization support easier asset recognition and help prevent network communication conflicts.
