The AXIS D4200-VE Speaker Strobe is a versatile outdoor audio-visual signaling device designed for security, safety, communication, and alerting applications. Combining configurable strobe lighting with a built-in speaker, this AXIS device supports prerecorded announcements, live audio, alarm tones, visual notifications, or coordinated audio-visual alerts. Multiple LED colors help communicate different conditions clearly, while two-way audio enables interactive communication when required.
Built for efficient system management, the AXIS D4200-VE supports AXIS Audio Manager for zone-based audio distribution, scheduled content, and targeted delivery. Compatibility with AXIS Audio Analytics allows the device to detect sounds and initiate alerts based on configured events. Integration options through VAPIX, SIP, MQTT, and input/output connections provide flexibility for connecting the speaker strobe to access control, security, building management, and other networked systems.
Designed for outdoor use, the white AXIS D4200-VE features IP66, NEMA 4X, and IK09 ratings for protection against dust, water, corrosion, and impact. Power over Ethernet Class 4 simplifies installation by providing network connectivity and power through a single cable, while PoE output can forward power to compatible additional devices. Scheduled health checks support proactive maintenance and help reduce service requirements. The unit is TAA compliant and includes an installation guide, terminal block connector, connector guard, cable gaskets, and owner authentication key.
