The AXIS S1232 uses a RAID controller with high cache memory to help reduce recording gaps, downtime, and data loss. Multiple RAID configurations, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10, provide flexible storage management, redundancy, and expansion options. A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 2 helps protect cryptographic keys and certificates, while built-in operating system recovery supports faster restoration if the system experiences a failure. The 32 TB storage capacity provides extended recording space for surveillance applications.
Scalable, installation-ready design
With support for recording bitrates up to 512 Mbit/s, approximately 64 channels, the AXIS S1232 can grow with expanding surveillance requirements. It includes 64 AXIS Camera Station licenses and offers additional storage expansion through its available drive bays. Remote management, Ethernet connectivity, and USB ports support convenient administration and data transfer. The system includes Dell ReadyRails 1U static rails and two C13-to-C14 power cords for rack power distribution units. AXIS Recorder Toolbox and an intuitive installation wizard help streamline setup and ongoing maintenance.
