The AXIS W800 System Controller is a standalone surveillance system controller designed to simplify the management and expansion of AXIS body-worn camera solutions. Model 01964-004 provides a centralized connection point for compatible docking stations and cameras, helping organizations add equipment without duplicating controller hardware in every docking station.
Cost-effective and scalable
Unlike systems that integrate a controller into each docking station, the AXIS W800 supports up to five docking stations and 40 cameras from one standalone unit. This architecture can reduce the cost and complexity of system expansion while making it easier to replace or add docking hardware as operational needs change. The black plastic enclosure is designed for bracket mounting and is well suited for use with AXIS docking station deployments.
Centralized management and fast offloading
The AXIS W800 System Controller provides a single integration and management point for a body-worn solution. Multiple controllers can be linked to help manage larger camera deployments through one interface. It also supports fast, reliable video offloading at up to 100 Mbit per camera, helping return cameras to service quickly after footage transfer. Compatible equipment includes the AXIS W100 Body Worn Camera, W700 one-bay Docking Station, W701 eight-bay Docking Station, and an external RFID card reader supporting 125 kHz, 13.56 MHz, and NFC connections through USB. The controller is TAA compliant, manufactured by Axis Communications, and backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
