Black Box MediaCento VX 8-Port VGA and Audio Extender Transmitter

The Black Box MediaCento VX 8-Port Transmitter is designed to extend high-quality analog VGA video, stereo audio, and serial signals over long distances using common CATx cable, eliminating the need for bulky VGA cables. This system supports up to eight channels of VGA video, with the ability to reach distances of up to 492 feet (150 meters) or 1000 feet (300 meters) when used with cascaded receiver repeaters, making it suitable for large-scale multimedia and control room installations. Even at extended lengths, the MediaCento VX maintains support for resolutions such as WUXGA (1920 x 1200) and Full HD (1920 x 1080), ensuring crisp image quality. The system features advanced controls for skew compensation, sharpness, and brightness adjustments, allowing precise image tuning over long cable runs. With an EDID copy function and HDCP compliance, the system guarantees compatibility with a wide range of devices and content types. The transmitter includes a local VGA port and audio jack, enabling direct connection to a monitor or speakers near the source for added convenience.
