Extend copper Ethernet connectivity over multimode fiber with the Black Box MultiPower LGC010A-R2 Transceiver/Media Converter. Designed to bring fiber directly to the desktop, this compact converter connects to a PC or network device through a copper CAT5 connection and links to a multimode fiber network through its fiber port. The TX/SX-MM-SC configuration supports an SC fiber connector and 850 nm multimode transmission for dependable network extension in offices, wiring closets, and other structured cabling environments.
Auto MDI/MDI-X simplifies installation by automatically detecting the required cable configuration, eliminating the need to select crossover or straight-through patch cables.
