The Blue Sea Systems 5046 8-Circuit Fuse Block offers a reliable and space-efficient solution for managing multiple electrical circuits in marine and vehicle applications. The ignition-protected design ensures safety in gasoline engine compartments when the cover is securely in place, meeting ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 standards. Constructed with tin-plated copper buses and fuse clips, it offers excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance for long-term durability. The fuse block accepts both ring and snap fork type terminals, providing flexibility for various wiring configurations. Included with the fuse block are eight write-on circuit labels, making circuit identification straightforward and organized. Although fuses are sold separately, this fuse block is engineered to support up to 100 amps per block and 30 amps per circuit, with a maximum voltage of 32V DC. Mounting is simple with #8 screws (M4), and terminal stud torque is set at 24 in-lb for secure connections. The screw terminal type uses #8-32 screws with captive star lock washers, ensuring stability and safety during operation.
