Reversible Transom Wedges 5 Degrees - Aluminum Finish
Reversible wedges for either positive or negative trim. Machined billet units look great and will never crack like cheaper cast units from competitors!
Offering 5 degrees of either negative or positive trim. In most cases, they are used to provide negative trim when your bow will not come down enough due to the angle of the motor (the transom is built without enough of a negative angle). This is a quick, cheap, and effective fix!
Features:
Bob's Machine Reversible Transom Wedges provide either positive or negative trim adjustment for a boat's outboard motor. These machined billet aluminum wedges offer a practical solution when the bow does not come down enough because the transom was built without sufficient negative angle.
Each wedge provides 5 degrees of either negative or positive trim, allowing the wedges to be reversed according to the adjustment needed. They are commonly used to add negative trim and help correct the motor angle at the transom.
Designed as a quick and effective adjustment, these billet units are made to avoid the cracking associated with cheaper cast units. The aluminum finish provides a clean appearance while supporting the functional demands of transom installation.
The wedges are sold as a pair for one engine. Installation requires bolts that are 1.5 inches longer for the thicker side of the wedge and 0.25 inches longer for the thin side.
