8 Setback Action Series Hydraulic Jack Plate - Silver
The hydraulic jack plate line, Action Series Jack Plate, offers new technology in the Jack Plate market. The first Jack plate to offer a pump inside the jack plate structure, saving boaters room inside the boat, and eliminating the need to mount a pump inside the boat. This is a great OEM feature to help save time in rigging.
The internal pump has a motor stronger than any other internal jack plate on the market currently, which will offer greater lifting speed, and strength with heavy outboards. All of the Bobs patented features from our standard series, automotive style grease nipples in the side rails, tension rods, and the famous Bobs Machine Shop Design, are all incorporated into the Action Series Jack Plate.
Offered in 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 setbacks, Bobs Jack plates offer 1 piece design, unlike competitors that require setback spacers to achieve the proper setback.
Action series support motors up to a 14.5 mounting width. If wider we recommend our Extreme Gen 3 series jack plates.

The Bob's Machine Action Series Hydraulic Jack Plate delivers reliable outboard height adjustment while saving valuable space inside the boat. Its integrated hydraulic pump is built directly into the jack plate structure, eliminating the need to mount a separate pump inside the hull. This OEM-friendly design can simplify rigging and provide a clean, efficient installation for new builds or repower projects. The silver finish offers a clean appearance while the one-piece construction eliminates the need for setback spacers.
Designed for performance and durability, the internal motor provides strong lifting power and fast adjustment for heavy outboards. The Action Series incorporates Bob's Machine patented design features, including automotive-style grease fittings in the side rails, tension rods, and a robust structural design. The plate includes 1.5 inches of built-in lift and 6 inches of adjustable travel for a total of 7.5 inches of lift. It supports engines rated up to 300 horsepower and weighing up to 625 pounds; heavier outboards should use the Extreme Series. The Action Series accommodates motors with mounting widths up to 14.5 inches.
This complete jack plate package includes the jack plate, wiring harness, relays, and rocker-style switch for installation. It is pre-drilled for dual side-mount Power-Pole brackets and can be converted to place the pump inside the boat if installation preferences change. The structure is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, while the Action pump includes a 3-year warranty.
