The Chief Tempo FPIWMKIT1 Flat Panel In-Wall Boxes and Stud Tabs Kit provides a secure pre-drywall solution for integrating in-wall storage and display mounting systems during rough-in construction. Designed for use with the Tempo Flat Panel In-Wall Flange-Mount-Storage Kit (FPIWMKIT2), purchased separately, this kit includes two metal in-wall boxes and stud tabs for efficient installation between standard metal studs.

The system supports flat-panel displays 65 inches and larger with a maximum load capacity of 249.12 pounds when installed according to manufacturer instructions. Its flexible mounting design accommodates a wide range of horizontal mounting patterns, making it suitable for extra-large and select ultrawide displays. Storage boxes can be positioned as needed to align the display with the mount, while the optional FHB5174 adapter bracket can extend compatible mounting patterns vertically.

Each box includes multiple knockout options to simplify power and data cable routing between storage locations. Side-wall knockouts accommodate 1.5-inch, 1.25-inch, 1-inch, and 0.5-inch conduit, while top and bottom knockouts support 1.25-inch, 1-inch, and 0.5-inch conduit. Dedicated single-gang electrical box knockouts provide additional installation flexibility. The durable black metal construction is designed for long-term performance, and the included stud tabs, fasteners, grounding screws, and installation manual support an organized rough-in installation.

Kit Includes: Two in-wall boxes, eight stud tabs, eight #6 Phillips flathead screws, eight #6 x 3/8-inch Phillips tapping screws, two grounding screws, and one installation manual. The Chief Tempo FPIWMKIT1 is backed by a 10-year limited warranty and is intended for in-wall applications where convenient connector adjustment, secure support, and flexible display integration are required.
