The Cisco Meraki MX68W is a cloud-managed network security and SD-WAN appliance designed to provide secure, reliable connectivity for branch offices, distributed organizations, and smaller enterprise environments. With centralized traffic inspection, policy enforcement, and access control, the MX68W helps simplify network deployment while supporting secure access to corporate, private cloud, and public cloud resources. Its wall-mountable form factor is well suited for office and branch installations without requiring a dedicated wiring closet.

Managed through the Cisco Meraki dashboard, the MX68W supports zero-touch provisioning, remote administration, application-based Layer 7 firewall policies, site-to-site Auto VPN, client VPN, content filtering, web search filtering, and WAN failover. Integrated security capabilities include Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), sandboxing, SSL inspection, data loss prevention, cloud access security broker functions, granular application controls, and SNORT-based intrusion detection and prevention informed by Cisco Talos intelligence. Advanced quality-of-experience analytics help administrators monitor application performance, WAN links, and VoIP health across the organization.

The MX68W also provides branch gateway services including DHCP, NAT, VLAN management, QoS, web caching, load balancing, traffic shaping, and dynamic path selection. Twelve network ports support connection and segmentation of multiple devices, while two PoE+ RJ-45 ports provide both data and power over a single Ethernet cable for compatible equipment. Wireless LAN connectivity is available for supported users and devices through the included external omni antennas. The Cisco Meraki MX68W package includes the appliance, mounting kit, two Cat 5 Ethernet cables, AC power adapter, and two wireless external omni antennas. It is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
